Welcome to the website of the 2010 North Carolina STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) PBL (Project-Based Learning) Conference. This one-day conference to be held in Raleigh, North Carolina, is designed for teachers and other educational professionals interested in learning about Project-Based Learning (PBL) and in sharing their PBL work! For members of the North Carolina New Tech Network, this event serves as the Spring “Meeting of the Minds” for our math and science teachers.
The conference is being supported by the North Carolina New Schools Project (NCNSP), the Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM (TIES), North Carolina State University (NCSU), and Hillside New Tech High School. This year, the conference will run concurrently with the NCNSP/TIES Student STEM Symposium (S^3) and the NCSU Undergraduate Research Symposium.
We hope that you’ll come to learn, share, and create a network of strong PBL teachers and community members. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
We’ll see you soon!
